US President Barack Obama has congratulated Iran on Nowruz and wished that it would prove the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, RIA Novosti reports.
Obama assured Iran that the international society will work on the nuclear program basing on guarantees and emphasized that the initiative lies in the hands of the Iranian government. The president added that it was time to reduce tensions and find a solution. It would allow improvement of relations and trade with Iran.
