Turkish government approves agreement on TANAP

The Turkish government has ratified the agreement signed earlier with the Trans Anatolian Gas Pipeline Company, Trend cites the official mouthpiece of the Turkish government Resmi Gazete as saying today.

Presently, a 20-percent share in TANAP is owned by Turkish companies BOTAS and TPAO, while an 80-percent share belongs to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). 

SOCAR intends to retain 51 percent of the equity in the project. Turkey will keep 20 percent of the equity.
