Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov has appointed Sergey Garkusha, head of the Leningradsky District, as his deputy for agricultural affairs, RIA Novosti reports.
Garkusha was heading the agricultural department of the region in 2009-2012.
Eduard Kutygin, the previous deputy governor for agriculture, resigned. He was in office since May 2012 and became head of the department for agriculture and processing industry of the Krasnodar territory in February 2013.
