The European Union is going to sign an agreement concerning Armenia's associate membership in the body next year, the head of the EU foreign office's department for relations with Eastern European, Caucasian and Central Asian states, Gunnar Vigand, says.
"We hope we will be able to draft an agreement concerning Armenia's associate membership in the EU by end of the year, so that it can be signed in 2014," he said.
