Russia and Kazakhstan to modernize military equipment

 

Kazakh Deputy Defense Minister Sergey Gromov presented the bill on ratification of the agreement of Kazakhstan and Russia on development and realization of joint projects for military cooperation to the parliament today, Trend reports.

The two states will form an enterprise to modernize and maintain military equipment.

The program for 2013-2015 includes 9 events, such as restoration of jet engines of military aircraft at the Western Kazakh Engineering Company of Uralsk, construction of an aviation center in Astana. Russian enterprises will take part on reconstruction of combat helicopters.
