Talks with Cyprus failed - Russian finance minister

Russian finance minister Anton Siluanov says that the talks with Cyprus have failed. 

“The final round of talks took place yesterday. The talks have ended,” Siluanov is quoted as saying by RIA Novosti. The minister also said that Russian investors “demonstrated no interest” in Cypriot proposals, the new agency informs.

The Cypriot government has offered Russia (which is believed to hold between one third and half of the island's bank deposits) investments in its national banks and gas projects in return for financial support.
