Erdogan demands that Israel raise Gaza blockade and plans visit

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan demands that Israel lift the blockade of the Gaza Strip. He says that this is a necessary step towards normalization of Israeli-Turkish relations, adding that the apology over the flotilla raid isn't enough.

“I told him that we accepted the apology, and that we would follow up with compensation and the embargo,” Erdoğan is quoted as saying by Hurriyet Daily News.

“We will monitor the situation to see if the promises are kept or not.”
