Partner states join EU sanctions against Iran

 

Croatia, Macedonia, Iceland, Albania, Lichtenstein, Norway and Moldova have joined the anti-Iranian sanctions the Council of Europe passed on March 11, 2013, Interfax-Azerbaijan cites EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton.

The latest sanctions add 9 Iranian governmental officials responsible for violation of human rights to the EU blacklist. They were banned from the EU territory and their accounts were frozen.
