Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov says that high-ranking officials should be restricted from going abroad permanently or for a certain period. He pointed out the negative prospects of foreign visits of ex-Minister for Defense Anatoly Serdyukov, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, ex-President Mikhail Gorbachev, former Finances Minister Alexey Kudrin, Mikhail Kasyanov and Boris Nemtsov, Boris Berezovsky, Izvestia reports.
Kadyrov reminded about ex-Premier Kasyanov’s visit to a conference entitled “US-EU-Russia after repressions of Putin” organized by Freedom House and Foreign Policy Initiative at the US Congress.
The Chechen leader added that restrictions for foreign visits were a responsibility, not a violation of people’s rights. People who do not want such limitations should choose other professions instead, he explains.
