The President of Dagestan, Magomedsalam Magomedov, today held a conference with officials of the defence and law enforcement agencies of the Republic, YUGA.RU reports.
Among those taking part in the conference were the Head of the Administration of the President of Dagestan Gasan Idrisov,the head of the Government of the Republic Rivzan Kurbanov, the First Vice-Premier of Dagestan Vyacheslav Shanyin, the Head of the Federal Security Service's office in Dagestan Ali Magamedov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Dagestan and other officials.
"The Republic is still threatened by terrorism and that is what we are concerned about," said the President.
