Georgian president may lose right to host military parade

 

Irakly Sesiashvili, head of the parliamentary committee for defense and security, proposed deprivation of President Mikheil Saakashvili’s right to host the military parade on the Independence Day of May 26, Georgia Online reports.

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania did not discuss the issue at a press conference on Monday. The prime minister and the government were preparing for the parade, he said.
