Georgian defense minister denies accusations

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasaniya denies accusations of pressuring witnesses, who are expected to testify in former defense minister Bacho Akhalaya's case.

A corresponding statement has been made by Akhalay. He has said that Alasaniya promised the former head of the Georgian military's United Staff, Gigi Kalandadze, that all charges against him would be dropped if he testified against Akhalaya.
