Lebanese President Michel Suleiman proposed formation of buffer zones in Syria at a meeting with Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces Jano Kakhvagi and President of the International Red Cross Committee Peter Maurer, MIGnews reports.
Such zones should be formed on the borders of Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and Iraq. A similar was proposed by Jordan’s Prime Minister Abdullah Ensur for Dara’a.
