The acting president of the Dagestani Republic, Ramazan Abdulatipov, has started a massive struggle with militants. VK asked Denga Khalidov, a member of the Russian Council of the Caucasian People's presidium, to share his view on the situation.
"Ramazan Abdulatipov and prime minister Mukhtar Medzhidov have started a massive anti-crime and ati-corruption campaign. This campaign has effected the whole political system of the republic, the whole society," he said.
According to Khalidov, corruption is the main problem of Dagestan. The law-enforcement agencies are among those bodies that cirrupted in the worst way, he says.
The current administration is trying to reform this collapsed system and the federal authorities should support this policy, he believes.
Moscow should show full support for Abdulatipov's policy, says Denga Khalidov
