Georgian president may be questioned about war of August 2008

 

Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani said that the International Court of Justice had a lot of information from complaints of citizens and NGOs accusing functionaries of violations, RIA Novosti reports.

The minister said that President Mikheil Saakashvili and high-ranking officials should be questioned about events during the war of August 2008.

Georgian Prosecutor General Archil Kbilashvili said that the president should be questioned about state acquirement of Imedi TV.
