PACE to examine Georgia

Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Michael Astrup Jensen (Denmark) and Boris Cilevics (Latvia) arrived today in Georgia. They will stay in Georgia until April 12. During their stay they will conduct a number of meetings in order to examine the current situation in Georgia in detail.

Several official meetings will take place on the first day: a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili and with the State Minister of Georgia for Reintegration Paata Zakareishvili. In the first half of the day a meeting with NGO representatives is scheduled.
