Ramazan Adbulatipov is in the right place, says expert

Serious large-scale reforms in various spheres of social life started after Acting President Ramazan Abdulatipov entrered office. 

The law-enforcement agencies are among those bodies which are affected by these reforms above all. 

Talking to VK, Dr. Sergey Chernyakhovsky, Professor at the History Faculty of the Russian State University for the Humanities, said that Abdulatipov's appointment shows that relations between the Dagestani elite and the federal power would change.

"It's absolutely clear that Abdulatipov's appointment reflects a change in the format of relations between Dagestan and the Russian elite," he said.
