The acting president of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, today inspected the main rail terminus of Makhachkala, together with the deputy head of North Caucasus Railways, Alexander Besedin.
Abdulatipov checked the waiting and registration halls and the platforms. In his opinion, compared to the stations in the other towns of republic, the train station in Makhachkala looks satisfactory.
Abdaltipov said that he discussed possible improvements to the train station with the management of North Caucasus Railways. "They should be unburdened of numerous shops, more attention should be paid so that people feel comfortable there," he is quoted by RIA Dagestan as saying.
