Chechen leader urges mass media to teach people to work

 

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov says that modern mass media have great impact on life, reflect and form public opinion and should put more effort into development of the population.

Kadyrov wants journalists to study the world and society deeper. He encouraged criticism.

The Chechen leader touched upon the unemployment problem. He says that people do not want to work, unlike they did in the past.

Kadyrov emphasized that the main priority of mass media was promotion of ethic values. Competitions in dancing, music and knowledge are meant to teach the new generation to respect traditions.

The meeting with Kadyrov was attended by Chechen Prime Minister Magomed Daudov, Kadyrov’s assistant for mass media Muslim Khuchiyev, Minister for National Policy, Press and Information Murat Tagiyev.
