Russian foreign minister to discuss energy and regional issues in Turkey

Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Turkey on April 17 to discuss bilateral cooperation, the situation in Syria and Iraq with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.

Lavrov will attend the third session of the joint group for strategic planning operating within the framework of the Turkish-Russian Higher-Level Cooperation Council.

The joint group will discuss preparations for the fourth session planned for the second half of 2013, Russian-Turkish ties and energy problems.
