Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Threat to the world is not a bomb, but the devaluing morality of the West
Iran needs no atomic bomb, but the nuclear power to produce cheap electricity, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said today while in Benin as part of his African tour."They (the West) have accused Iran, like all other countries that seek to get out of their control. We do not need an atomic bomb, and what threatens the world is not a bomb, but the devaluing morality and culture of the West," Ahmadinejad said. The West and Israel suspect Iran of trying to develop a military program and build an atomic bomb under the cover of peaceful nuclear energy research. Tehran has denied the charges, claiming that it is developing its nuclear program exclusively for energy and medical purposes.
