Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Special Envoy of OSCE chairman Andrey Deshitsa and exchanged opinions about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Trend reports.
Continuation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict was an obstacle to peace and stability in the region, Mammadyarov noted. He demanded the OSCE Minsk Group to make new efforts to stimulate the peace process.
The Azerbaijani foreign minister said that exploitation of the Khojaly Airport was a violation of the Chicago Convention of 1944.
