US and Azerbaijan to discuss democracy

Thomas Melia, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State at the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, arrived in Baku last night and will discuss human rights and democracy today, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan reports.

His visit will continue until April 19. Melia will meet Azerbaijani public officials.
