Moscow is hosting a conference of culture ministers of Europe. Deputy Secretary general of the Council of Europe Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni said that she had visited Azerbaijan a few months ago and had talks with ministers, head of the Presidential Administration and the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE.
The official noted that a plan had been developed to cooperation in protection of human rights, support of democracy and law. She expects Azerbaijani authorities to comment on the proposals of cooperation.
Battaini-Dragoni noted cooperation in culture and reminded that she had been the head of the cultural department of the CE.
She pointed out cultural cooperation of Azerbaijan and Italy, stating that many Italian specialists were helping Azerbaijan reconstruct buildings at Baku center.
