Albania has ratified the agreement to build the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) signed in early April.
TAP is one of the project to transport Azerbaijani gas from Shah Deniz to Europe. The gas pipeline will start at Komotini (Greece), run through Albania, under the Adriatic Sea to Port Brindisi (Italy). It will have a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters of gas annually and may further be expanded to 20 billion.
