Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a governmental session that about 2 billion rubles will be spent to finance the return of compatriots from foreign states in 2013 and about 3 billion rubles in 2014-2015, RIA Novosti reports.
The PM noted that the program helping them return will finance their transport expenses and housing. The success of the initiative will depend on regional authorities.
Medvedev reminded that the process was positive and support for compatriots was essential for the development of the country and attracting skilled specialists.
