Russia to only admit foreigners with international passports

The Federal Migration Service (FMS) has proposed admitting only foreign citizens with foreign passports to Russia. Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the Director of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky, supported this idea. He, in turn, proposed introducing this practice from 1 January 2015, "Interfax" reports.

At the same time, Putin emphasized that this measure will not concern the citizens of the Customs Union, that is, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
