The head of the US Department of Defense, Chuck Hagel, has started his visit to the Middle East. Today the Pentagon chief will visit Israel in order to meet with his Israeli counterpart Moshe Yalon, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres.
The US official will then head to Jordan.
