Head of the Israeli parliamentary committee for foreign affairs Avigdor Lieberman met Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov today and discussed bilateral cooperation and partnership and problems of the Middle East in Israel today.
Mammadyarov discussed problems of the Middle East with Pvice Premier of Palestine Salam Fayad. The Azerbaijani minister expressed interest in settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, recognition of the capital of Palestine in Eastern Jerusalem.
Mammadyarov started his visit to the Middle East on April 21 to discuss Iranian and Turkish problems. He made his first visit to Tel Aviv, Israeli Ambassador to Russia Dorit Golender told Vestnik Kavkaza.
The visit will continue until April 23.
