Central office of Russian Interior ministry to react to Chechen-Ingush police conflict

 

The central office of the Russian Interior Ministry will settle the conflict of Ingush and Chechen law enforcers at Arshty in the Sunzhensky District of Ingushetia, Interfax cites Natalya Platonova, spokeswoman of the office of the plenipotenriary presidential envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District.

Six people were injured in the conflict on April 18. Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov ordered prevention of Chechens from entering Ingush territories.

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov accused Ingush authorities of inefficient counter-terrorism policy and Yevkurov of being ungrateful.
