The Afghan authorities have denied information that after a helicopter crash in Logar province militants of the Taliban movement have captured Russian citizens.
On board the crashed helicopter there were seven Turkish engineers, two Ukrainians and their Afghan interpreter, "The Voice of Russia" reports, referring to a statement by the press secretary of the provincial governor, Din Mohammad Darwesh.
VK reported earlier it was rumoured that there may be one or two Russian citizens among those captured by the militants. In turn, representatives of the Taliban movement have confirmed the capture of foreign nationals, but did not specify their nationalities.
