Greece to save bishops kidnapped in Syria

 

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras ordered Foreign Minister Dimistris Avramopoulos, who is at a meeting with NATO authorities in Brussels, to take all the necessary measures to release Metropolitan Paul Yazigi and Syrian Archbishop Yohanna Ibrahim, RIA Novosti reports.

Samaras and Avramopoulos called Patriarch John X of Antioch and expressed support.

Syrian opposition leader George Sabra said that immediate measures will be taken for release of the clerics kidnapped in Aleppo.
