The Azerbaijani region of Nakhchyvan will become the Capital of Islamic Culture in 2018, the country's labour and social security minister Fizuli Aleklerov said at a meeting of labour ministers of the member-states of the Islamic Cooperation Organization.
The Azerbaijan official also said that his country pays special attention to its collaboration with the body.
The minister also thanked the Islamic Cooperation Organization for its unanimous position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
