New prime minister appointed in Moldova

Moldova's foreign minister Yuriye Lyanke has been appointed as the country's new prime minister. The corresponding document was signed by President Nikolae Timofti today.

The appointment came after the Constitutional Court's decision that Vlad Filat cannot serve as the head of cabinet since he is accused of corruption.
