Georgian Prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said at a PACE session in Strasburg today that he wanted to restore railway connection between Russia and Georgia through Abkhazia.
The new Georgian government elected in October 2012 wants to normalize ties with Russia. The railway was broken after the Georgian-Abkhaz war of 1992-1993.
