The Azerbaijani parliament plans to pass amendments to the law on peacekeeping operations, granting Azerbaijani peacekeepers the right to take part in international military operations, engage in combat and carry out independent military operations, 1news reports.
Zahid Orudzh, a member of the parliamentary committee for security and defense, is one of the authors of the amendments. He explained that the bill allows Azerbaijani soldiers to be involved in military operations abroad.
