Iran may withdraw from NPT

Iranian representative to the IAEA Ali Asgar Soltaniye said at the second session of the preparatory committee of the conference on the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons that Iran may withdraw from the treaty, Trend reports.

The official noted that the US and EU were ignoring the document. The IAEA allows non-signers of the document to export nuclear materials and technologies and continues cooperation with them, the representative points out.
