WWII veterans in Kabardino-Balkaria to receive 10 thousand roubles each

Veterans of the Second World War living in the North Caucasian republic of Kabardino-Balkaria are going to receive 10 thousand roubles each on the occasion of Victory Day.

The corresponding document has been signed by the republic's head Arsen Kanokov.

"A respectful attitude towards the elderly is a peculiar feature of the Caucasian people. Those who fought in the great war should be respected even more," Kanokov said.
