The Armenian ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan ordered the consular general of Armenia in the south of Russia Ararat Gomtsyan and the head of the regional SAR department of the Krasnodar Territory Razmik Gevorkyan to arrive in Novorossiysk on July 29th, Panorama.am reports, citing ‘Yerkramas’ newspaper.
They will meet the local authorities to express their attitude to the vandalism on the night of July 23-24 and the necessity to help the local Armenian community.
The embassy of Armenia said that the graves will be restored using the city’s budget. The society of Armenian culture’ Luys’ said that three graveyards were vandalized on the night of 23-24 of July, the graveyards of Karakhakha had 24 graves broken, Mefodiyevskoye had 11 broken, Centralnoye had 5 broken.
