The European Union is interested in close relations with Azerbaijan. The EU believes Azerbaijan is a promising and reliable partner, European Commission for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle said today in Baku.
Addressing an audience gathered at the Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy, the EU official said that the bloc is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan is the spheres of defense, energy, culture and education.
"I believe we will manage to establish a solid foundation for development and prosperity," the European Commissioner said.
