President Obama rules out military operation Syria

US President Barack Obama says a ground military operation in Syria is not an option, RIA Novosti reports.

Commenting on possible use of chemical weapons in the country, President Obama said that there is no need for direct military intervention and that this idea is not being considered by the US authorities.

"We will not act until we are absolutely sure," the US president said.
