Venezuela has started recounting 46% of presidential polls, RIA Novosti reports.
Henrique Capriles, a candidate who lost the elections, wants both the polls and the protocols to be checked.
The recount will continue until June 4. 350 ballot boxes will be checked every day. There are 10,500 boxes that need checking.
Nicolas Maduro won the elections with 50.61% of votes, Capriles got 49.12%. Opposition filed a protest to the Supreme Court.
