Iranian authorities have accused the US of helping Syrian militants acquire chemical weapons, RIA Novosti cites spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast.
The Iranian diplomat notes that Syrian authorities were the first to ask international organizations to study the problem of chemical weapons in Syria.
The Syrian government says that the rebels used chemical weapons in the Aleppo Province on March 19. Opposition notes that the governmental forces used chemical weapons in Homs in December 2012. A special commission human rights commission of the UN said on Monday that it had no facts of chemical weapons being used by any side of the conflict.
