The co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov (Russia), Bernard Fassier 9France) and Robert Bradtke (USA) met on July 28th with the members of the group in the Austrian capital of Vienna, Armenia Today reports.
The co-chairs informed the Minsk Group about the situation at negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and the negotiations of the presidents of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia in St. Petersburg on June 17th, the meeting of OSCE MG members with foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on July 17th and the joint declarations of co-chairs of MG in Muskok and Alma-Ata.
The co-chairs noted that the efforts of the sides of conflict were not enough to cope with the disagreements and additional measures are needed to strengthen the cease-fire regime and demonstrate readiness for compromise.
The co-chairs will visit the region in September, their declaration says.
