Somali pirates free Turkish vessel ‘Frigia’

Somali pirates have freed the Turkish vessel ‘Frigia’ that was captured 4 months ago, ITAR-TASS reports, citing the Turkish TV channel NTV.


‘Frigia’, which flew under a Maltese flag, was captured by pirates on March 23rd near the Indian coast. The crew consisted of 19 Turks and 2 Ukrainians.


The details and conditions of freeing the vessel were not clarified.
