U.S. to spend another $100 million on Syrian refugees
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced today that the United States is providing an additional $100 million in humanitarian assistance to support those affected by the violence within Syria and the more than 1.4 million refugees across the region. The money will be transferred through UN humanitarian organizations. According to Kerry, Washington wants to end the war."To do this, we must also address the humanitarian crisis both in Syria and on the borders with the neighboring countries where refugees flock,"  ITAR-TASS quoted Kerry.The amount spent by the United State on Syria alone will exceed $500 million.
