Georgia may legalize marijuana

The Georgian government may soon legalize marijuana, the country's labour minister David Sergeyenko is quoted as saying by Interfax.

"In this sphere a certain strategy is essential. Legalization of marijuana is one of the necessary steps," the minister says.

The United Nations has recently called for worldwide legalization of marijuana in order to struggle against smoking tobacco.
