USA to deploy contingent in Georgia

USA announced their intention to deploy a military contingent in Georgia.  Spokesmen of the Pentagon said it today in the course of their official to the U.S.Congress, RBC reports. There measures are necessary for “ensuring stability” during the joint preparations with Washington to  hostilities in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon also  informed the Congress about analogous plans   to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Croatia and Hungary, in which are also planned joint Afghani operations  with the U.S. servicemen.

It should be mentioned that the Pentagon’s appeal  has been voiced  soon after Presidents Medvedev and Obama arranged about  signing  a new START treaty on April 8 in Prague.
