Ilham Aliyev on official visit to Austria

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva are on an official visit to Austria. The program of the visit includes meetings with representatives of political and business circles of the country.In Vienna, the president met with his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fischer. Heads of State expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic and other fields, Trend reports.Also, the president of Azerbaijan met the CEO of the largest Central European oil company OMV AG, Gerhard Roissi. The sides exchanged views on further economic cooperation in the oil sector.Earlier this year, the Austrian company bought the stake of Germany's RWE in the Nabucco West project, thus becoming one of the leaders of the consortium.In addition to business meetings the President and his wife visited today the monument to the prominent Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibayli, erected in the Danube Park in the Austrian capital.
