Georgia forms special commission to study war with South Ossetia

 

A commission of 8 was formed in Georgia to study the war with South Ossetia in 2008, RIA Novosti cites Georgian Chief Prosecutor Archil Kbilashvili.

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili believes that Georgian authorities that started the war were inadequate. President Mikheil Saakashvili may be questioned over the case.

Georgian forces attacked South Ossetia and destroyed its capital Tskhinval on August 8, 2008. Russia entered South Ossetia to protect its citizens and pushed Georgian forces out in 5 days.
